St. Matthias Church  |  East Lyme, CT

The project entails a new 14,000 square foot, 500 seat church, with extensive narthex and meeting functions. An ambulatory is employed at the perimeter to the nave to provide both a visual transition to the exterior and a deep sense of enclosure within the space. Brick masonry is used throughout for both exterior and interior finishes with pre-cast concrete trim. Stone flooring is employed throughout.
