The project entailed the demolition of an existing church and re-use of key elements in the new structure, including granite and strained glass. Unique interior strategies included utilizing a stained glass wall between the main sanctuary and daily chapel to both connect and separate the different worship spaces. Salvaged historic elements, including stained glass and granite steps, were incorporated the into new church.

An extremely tight budget required a knowledgeable and creative approaches to structure, construction and finishes. By employing a steel frame and laminated wood girder structure clad in veneer brick, a favorable cost per square foot was realized while providing quality construction. The natural finish afforded by the laminated wood structure and exposed timber deck ceiling worked with the interior brick finish to create a warm and powerful interior.
